Two Engines Providing the Power That You Crave
There are two engines available across the five trim levels of the 2021 Honda Civic Sedan. The first engine is a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that is standard on the LX and Sport trims. This engine delivers up to 158 horsepower and 138 lb-ft of torque. The second engine is a 1.5-liter inline four-cylinder with turbocharger engine that is standard on the EX, EX-L, and Touring trims. This engine produces up to 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque.
Just like the engines, there are two transmissions available. The first is a Continuously Variable Transmission (M-CVT) that is paired with the 2.0L four-cylinder engine. On the Sport trim, this transmission also comes with Paddle Shifter. The second transmission is a Continuously Variable Transmission (LL-CVT) that is paired with the 1.5L turbocharged engine. This transmission comes with the Paddle Shifters on the Touring trim.
