2017 Honda Pilot Technology Upgrades
When the redesigned Honda Pilot was first launched last year, there was a lot to love about the vehicle. Its sleek new design make it one of the most stylish SUVs on the road, and its interior options keep everyone happy, no matter how long the drive may be. However, Honda has set out on making the Pilot even better this year, which is why there have been a couple 2017 Honda Pilot technology upgrades!
The biggest addition to the 2017 Honda Pilot is that it will now be available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. These systems can be accessed through the previously available HondaLink infotainment system, and they allow drivers to access functions such as making phone calls and sending messages on a platform that they are familiar with. Both of these systems will be accessible by connecting your iPhone or Android phone to the vehicle. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have been rolled out in plenty of other 2017 Honda vehicles, including the all new 2017 Honda CR-V, and now it finally comes to the 2017 Honda Pilot.
Improved 8-Inch Display Audio Touchscreen
Another less noticeable technology upgrade that the 2017 Honda Pilot has received is that the vehicle’s available 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen will now utilize a new coating that will make fingerprint smudges less noticeable. This new coating also allows the screen to maintain its high glare resistance.
White Diamond Pearl Exterior Available on All Trims
While this isn’t really a technology upgrade, we have to mention that the stunning White Diamond Pearl exterior color option, which was previously only available on the Elite trim, is now available for any 2017 Honda Pilot trim. With it comes an available black interior as well.
